The Blue Album’s documented ingredients were Ocasek’s borrowed Gibson and Fender guitars into a vintage Mesa/Boogie Mark I, recorded without drive pedals. The clean neck-pickup verse and P-90 chorus below are representative assignments because exact song-specific guitar and knob records have not surfaced.
