Bellamy used his Manson DeLorean, whose built-in Z.Vex Fuzz Factory creates the unstable intro and saturated main riff. The verse was processed through a Roland VG-8 and GK-2 MIDI pickup to imitate pulsing strings; exact control positions were not published, so the values below are representative.
