Machine-March Guitar Lattice — Fast Intro & Disco Riff
Alex Kapranos and Nick McCarthy recorded the debut’s guitars mainly through Kapranos’s battered Selmer and Bob Hardy’s Fender Bassman 100, with bass rolled away at the microphone to create the band’s thin, interlocking attack. The tempo change was performed live, while the guitar identities and numerical controls below are representative settings approximated from the documented rig.
